Often Reproved Prov. 29: 1

He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed and that without remedy.  Reproofs of instruction are the way of life (Prov 6:23). If you attend a true Bible believing church, there you will find reproof because reproof corrects ungodly behavior. If all you get from a church is love then you are not going to grow in that church (2Tim 4:2). In reproof you are to learn the first time you are reproved (Deut 21:19-20). The purpose of reproof is not to subvert people, but rather to get people accustomed to following orders or commandments the first time that they are told to do something.

Do you reprove people in such a way that the first time you give them an instruction to carry out they obey it the first time that you tell them?

Do you take reproof? Those who are reproved by you will be watching to see how you take reproof and follow your example the next time you reprove them.

If you have heard a preacher, friend, or stranger preach the gospel, you have been reproved by the Lord. How have you responded?  If you have rejected the gospel heretofore, you need to respond rather than harden your neck or you will be destroyed!
