How Countries Are Destroyed Matt. 12:25 CLICK TITLE FOR AUDIO

The Bible shows us how countries are destroyed.  Countries are destroyed by:

Internal Strife – Matt 12:25 – “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation”

Wicked Rulers – 2 Ki 21:10-16 – “Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations… I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down”

Excessive Debt – Prov 22:7 – “the borrower is servant to the lender” – heretofore many countries have succeeded in waging currency wars by devaluing their currencies to stimulate their economies – this is not a solution – countries can only do this so long – the end result is a huge crash

Enemy Invasion – Jos 11:15-23 – “So Joshua took the whole land according to all that the Lord said unto Moses” – 2 Ki 17:6, 18, 20, 23 – “the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away in Assyria” – 2 Ki 25:4-21 – “So Judah was carried away our of their land”

Divine Judgment – Deut 28:15-68 – “it shall come to pass, that as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it” – Gen 19:24-25 – “the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven”

Eternal Damnation – Matt 25:31-32, 41-46 – “Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels… these shall go away into everlasting punishment”

Conclusion: Can you see any of these coming?  They are all coming.  And the only way that you can escape is through the Lord Jesus [Heb 2:3; 1 Cor 10:13; Jn 14:6].
