Hurt Speech
Ecc.7:21-22
Social media is the perfect tool to “take heed unto all words that are spoken”. Hurt speech has always been part of the human experience. Folks have always allowed cursing’s to leave their mouth and hurt others. Today with social media it is far easier to not only say whatever you like about others, but also to hear “all words that are spoken”, about others and yourself. Have you ever been hurt by someone’s speech? The term “Bulling” of today is hurt speech. “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me”, is not true. Words do hurt. God does not want you to be the speaker or the victim.
