The eternal covenant was established in Revelation 21-22.  The eternal covenant that runs from the end of the Millennium through eternity.  This covenant begins after the White Throne Judgment.  The token of the eternal covenant is New Jerusalem, Rev. 21:2.

Under this covenant, God dwells with men (Rev 21:3; 22:4).  There is no more death, sorrow, crying or pain (Rev 21:4; 1 Cor 15:22-26).  The curse is lifted (Rev 22:3).  Death, hell and the devil are in the lake of fire (Rev 20:10; 20:14).  The tree of life is available again, during the millennium, to those who do God’s commandments (22:2,14).  In the millennium, the leaves of the tree will be for healing which is connected with salvation (Ezek 47:12; Jer 17:14; Jer 30:7, 17). The tree of life will evidently continue into eternity.  There will be new heavens and a new earth (Rev 21:1; 2 Pet 3:10-13; Is 65:17-19).  There will be no more sea (Rev 21:1 a reference to the waters above the heavens Ps 148:4; Job 38:30).

The world’s view of this covenant is that the language of Revelation is figurative and New Jerusalem and Heaven are not literal.  Eternity is spent in paradise or on the earth in Jehovah’s kingdom.  Some believe that heaven is just a state of mind.

Salvation under the eternal covenant is completed with sinless, eternal perfection.  We are not sinless and perfect today, but we will be in the future and so will all those under this covenant.
