In Rom 13:11, Paul wrote, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.”  Jesus’s return is closer now than ever before.  Knowing the time, now is not the time to be so overly concerned with our health and safety that we neglect the important job, we still have, of preaching the gospel to the lost.

It is High Time – Rom 13:11 – this is not the time to pull back from preaching the gospel, witnessing, and passing out tracts.  Keep going and finish the job.  

It is Little Time – Jas 4:14 – there is very little time left for us to do our job.  What am I going to do with what little time I have left on this earth?  Be innovative if you must.  Just don’t waste the precious little time that we have left.

It is the Last Time – 1 Jn 2:18-19 – if was the last time when John wrote this scripture, then it is really the last time as we are so near the Lord’s return.  There is an organized assault on Christianity.  Our country started on Biblical principles and has been turning back from those.  In 1 Jn 2:20-21 we have the Holy Spirit in us.  Regardless of the apostasy we see around us, we can finish this job.  

Conclusion: what are you going to do in this time?  It’s high time that you commit to getting the gospel to the lost.
