Pastor Rick Sowell preached a salvation message from Gal 4:7. “Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ”. When you believe on Jesus you become a son of God. There is no longer any guesswork. You don’t have to hope you’re saved. You know you’re saved. When it comes to salvation, human beings want absolute assurance when it’s available. And it’s available in Jesus Christ. Are you saved?

When you are saved, you are no longer what you were before you were saved. Today, you are a son. Today, you are a child of God. And there are some things that are true, now that you are a son.

You are no longer bound by the devil.

You have been made free in Jesus Christ. You are no longer bound by sin.

You are no longer blinded by the darkness.

Now you are a child of his light and you walk in light.

You are no longer burdened by the debt.

Jesus paid all of your sin debt.

You are no longer branded as an outsider.

You are now one of his sons or daughters.

You are no longer banned from his dwelling.

You have a home in heaven with the Lord and all of his children.

You are no longer baffled by the book.

You can now read the Bible and the Lord will show you things in there that he wants you to see.

You are no longer a broken and unusable vessel.

God can use you today for his glory.

Conclusion: Don’t ever forget where you came from. And if you aren’t his child yet, before you walk out of here today, you can be saved and know that you are a son of God. Would you like to be a son of God today?
