Declaring The End From The Beginning, Is 46:9-10

Is 46:9-10 says this about God, “declaring the end from the beginning”.  God himself has no beginning. Yet, from the beginning of the creation, God was able to declare the end.  He already knows everything that is going to happen before it happens.  We know he knows because of his:

Deity – “for I am God, and there is none else”.  There are many that be called gods.  But there is only one true God.  He is the Almighty, the Creator, the Supreme Being, the King, the Lord, God.  He’s the only one who can tell you the end from the beginning because he is the only God who is.

Eternity – “for I am God, and there is none like me”.  God has no beginning and no ending.  He is eternal.  He’s already on the other side of what’s going to happen and can tell you because he is there.  When you get there he’s already been there and is there.  John gave the Revelation from God’s perspective.  God is everlasting.  So, when John saw what he recorded, he was looking at it as it unfolded, though it hasn’t happened yet.

Prophecy – “declaring the end from the beginning… things that are not yet done”.  Rev 19:10 the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.  He tells you ahead of time so that when it comes to pass you know that he knew. And when you know that he knows, you can believe him when he tells you.

Sovereignty – “I will do all my pleasure”. Things in the end will work out like he said because God does what he pleases.  He just makes it happen.  You say he didn’t and he has already done it.  You say that he can’t and he’s the only one who can.

Conclusion: So, when you’re going through something, God already knows how it’s going to turn out.  No surprises to God, who’s known for “declaring the end from the beginning”.  And you can fully trust him.  You can pray and he will give you peace, wisdom, grace, strength, understanding, patience, and joy in the process no matter the outcome.
