Obtaining favor with God should be one of our greatest concerns in our lives.  Jesus, Mary, David, Daniel, Abraham, and Samuel all found favor with God.  And we can, as well.  We obtain favor by righteousness.  Ps 5:12 says, “For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield”.  This is favor by righteousness.
