Here is a great lesson from “the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself.” The fruit that trees produce can identify any fruit tree in the world because the fruit tree yields fruit after his kind. In the New Testament, the Lord applied this truth to men when he taught, “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” He showed us that there are really only two spiritual trees in the earth. These are the good tree and the corrupt tree. They are both found in Matt. 7:17-20. They are known by the fruit they produce because each yields after his kind. All men are likened to either one or the other tree depending solely upon what they do with Jesus Christ.
