When you think about how omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent God is, why pray?  What’s the use of praying?

The Lord wants it – Lk 18:1, 1 Thes 5:17 – it is a great way to have fellowship with him, 1 Jn 1:3-7 – and it is the perfect way to be restored in that fellowship when it is broken, 1 Jn 1:9 – the more time you spend in prayer, the more you begin to think like the Lord, 1 Cor 2:16, Is 50:4-5

Others depend upon it – you join the Lord in the great work of intercession, Rom 8:26, Rom 8:34, Heb 7:25 – The Lord knows that our country needs it and so do our family, friends and acquaintances, 1 Tim 2:1-3

You need it – Jas 1:5 for wisdom, Phil 4:6-7 for worry, Phil 4:6-7 for gratitude, Matt 26:41 for watching, Neh 2:4 for witnessing [1 Pet 3:15, 4:11]
