The Will of God

Review:

According to Romans 12:1-2, God is willing to let you know what his will is. He wants two things from you:  First, the Sacrifice of Reasonable Service

• The sacrifice of your Person
• The sacrifice of your Praise
• The sacrifice of your Prayer
• The sacrifice of your Possessions
• The sacrifice of your Purity

   Secondly, God wants your Mind Renewed

• Be not conformed to this world – made to resemble (look like it), reduced to a likeness (be like it), made agreeable to (like it)
• Be ye transformed – changed in form or appearance(look, act, and are different)

By the renewing of your mind    (Your thoughts, your emotions, and your will)

You will not be conformed to this world but transformed if you renew your mind.

John 4:24
 ^“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

1. Ephesians 4:23
   “And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;”

When you get saved, God provides you with spiritual help to renew your mind.

4. 2 Cor. 4:16 Renewed Daily
5. II.  Colossians 3:10 
                           ^“ And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the  image of him that created him:”

When you get saved, God’s will is: 1 Timothy 2:4
  ^“  Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

1. John 17:17 “…thy word is truth”
2. 2 Tim.3:1-7 the world today – no knowledge of the truth
3. C. Heb.4:12 “discerner of the thoughts and intents of  the heart”
