God designs every place where he dwells. God’s design and his presence in each “temple” he designed bring Him glory!!

He designed the universe that he inhabits – Heb 11:3, Jn 1:3 – the universe fits him perfectly; it’s tailor-made Heb 1:10-12 – and the heavens bring him glory Ps 19:1-6, Rom 1:20.

He designed the Tabernacle that he inhabited – Ex 15:17, Ex 25:8-9 – the very specific design and dimensions were His pattern – and his glory was seen in that tabernacle Ex 40:34.

He designed the Temple that he inhabited – 1 Ki 8:10-13, 1 Chr 28:11-19 – the very specific design and dimensions were His pattern – and his glory was seen in the temple 1 Ki 8:60.

He designed His body, the church, which he is now building and which he inhabits – Matt 16:18; 1 Cor 3:11, Col 1:27 – the church is His perfect habitation Eph 1:22-23, Rev 21:22, Eph 4:12-13 – and his glory is seen in the church Eph 3:21.

He has a perfect design for us whom he inhabits – 1 Cor 6:19-20 – we are to be conformed to His image Rom 8:29 – and He lives His life in us perfectly when we are conformable to his death Phil 3:10, Gal 2:20 – the picture of Vitruvian Man demonstrates the perfect proportions of buildings when the man’s arms are outstretched like Christ’s were when he hung on the cross – even so when we are dead in Christ, He can live His life fully in us and we thereby glorify Him, Col 1:27.
