A Sure Reward Prov. 11:18-21 CLICK TITLE FOR AUDIO

Sowing righteousness brings a guaranteed reward which the wicked cannot claim:

Life – v.19 – temporal life Rom 8:1; Prov 10:27

Delight – v.20 – favor with the Lord – the wicked are an abomination to the Lord

Deliverance – v.21 – from evil, Matt 6:13 [bar room fights, jail, diseases (STD’s) because you won’t be doing those things that get you into that kind of trouble – you’ll be delivered from that trouble]; or from destruction like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Dan 3:17-18; or from sin like some alcoholics – the wicked cannot claim this no matter how many band together to get out of the trouble as in Jer 37:9-10 where wounded Chaldeans could have driven out the Jews.

Peace – Jas 3:18 – Phil 4:6-7.

Mercy – Hos 10:12 –– mercy from God when a man turns to the right as in Ezek 18:21-22 [true in life, like a prisoner getting out early for good time].

Life everlasting – Gal 6:8, Titus 3:5 mercy based on the righteousness of Jesus.
