Heeding False Lips Prov. 17:4 CLICK TITLE FOR AUDIO
A teen girl who wants to fornicate will believe her paramour when he tells her he loves her. When Ahab was ready to go to Ramothgilead he listened to false lips. When Absalom was ready to kill David he listened to false lips (Hushai). Many people today are ready to do something wrong in the name of God and they are heeding false lips (2 Pet 2) – God would never do wrong to save you.
Modern Bibles are false Bibles – ever since we have seen the proliferation of modern bibles we have seen the increase of sin and error in the churches – there is a direct correlation between the increase of false doctrine and the increase of modern bibles.
Listen, that stuff that Benny Hinn, Rick Warren and Joel Osteen are doing wouldn’t pass off as Bible preaching back when people were reading and believing KJV’s – there weren’t homosexuals and women preachers in Methodist and Presbyterian churches back in the days of God’s words.
The people have decided they want to do wickedly or lie and they are giving heed to false lips and naughty tongues – if they weren’t bent on doing wrong they would not give these guys the time of day.

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria
I want to encourage you today to watch what you are saying. Your words have creative power [not scriptural] and you use them as a destructive force or as an instrument of blessing [as in Jas 3:2-13]. If you continually speak negative words over your life, then eventual defeat will be the result [not scriptural - this is a philosophy that comes from positive thinking that basically allows you to deal with the stresses in life by always dwelling on the good - Paul certainly spoke some negative words over his life in order to have God's perspective on these things (see Rom 7:14-25; 1 Tim 1:15; 2 Cor 12:10; Rom 3:10, 23; Phil 3:21; etc] . In the same way, if you speak words of faith and victory, you will see a harvest of blessing not only in your own life [how does this account for 2 Cor 11:23-30 or Heb 5:7-8 and Heb 12:36-40 and similar verses which show some of God's best when they are not in a harvest of blessing in this lifetime? Merely speaking these words accomplishes nothing except to change your perspective], but also in the lives of those around you.
We challenge you to watch over the words you speak. When you find yourself in a difficult situation, don't say the first thing that pops into your head. Learn to control your emotions [Prov 16:32 it is good to have control over these things] and take those thoughts captive [2 Cor 10:3-6]. When you use words of faith and victory [1 Jn 5:4], God will fight your battles for you [not exactly, according to Eph 6:10-18, you have to fight and he gives you the armor with which to fight and he gives you the strength Phil 4:13]. You'll overcome every challenge that you face [I believe that Jesus is the only one who ever succeeded at this - we still meet challenges that beat us and we have to learn from our mistakes (Prov 24:16) - look how Paul missed the clear warnings of the Holy Spirit as he continued to head toward Jerusalem against the Lord's leading (Acts 20:22-23)] and you will live the abundant life that God has in store for you [Jn 10:10 - but that abundant life may be a life consisting of the bare necessities {if that much at times} and contentment (Phil 4:11-12, Heb 13:5)].
A Prayer for Today
God, I believe I can change my world by changing my words [you have to have God's words to do that and even with his words the church age ends in apostasy (2 Thes 2:3)]. I will speak of my visions, my dreams, and my hopes [won't do - this is all from positive thinking just to make the person happier, you need God's visions, thoughts, etc, not "my" hopes (Is 55:8-9, Phil 4:8)]. I will declare, this day, that I can do all things through Christ (Phil 4:13) and that I am more than a conqueror (Rom 8:37)! I can do all these things because You first believed in me [heresy - he never believed in us, he loved us first 1 Jn 4:19 - he never told anyone that they could accomplish their dreans and visions because he believed in them - that philosophy is at the root of positive thinking - i.e., you have to believe in yourself - WOW]. In Jesus' Name - Amen. [Italics mine to add emphasis and commentary]
Listen to this from Rick Warren of the purpose-driven movement: Pastor Welder reads from Rick Warren’s book here.
The book is filled with topics from psychology. The author talks repeatedly about “opening up” to others and “sharing” your painful experiences, fears, failures and even sins. James calls this kind of wisdom, “earthly, sensual, devilish,” (Jas 3:15). When you first begin to experience the results of following this false doctrine, you get the liberating sensation that you have just discovered one of the most profound truths in the Bible. It’s pragmatic, it feels good and it looks good. But after the fruit of this heresy ripens, it is as vile as rotten figs (Jer 29:17).
The basic concept that is employed from psychology is the “support group.” This is the group or individual with whom you talk about yourself. You confess your sins to them, you tell them your deepest thoughts and feelings, and you disclose your addictions and temptations to them. This is supposed to humble you while giving you courage. In truth, the whole process defiles the congregation and is nothing more than an opening for the old man to get publicly comfortable with his sins.
There is no doubt that Christians are to bear one another’s burdens (Gal. 6:2). However, the author professes that there are actually some sins in your life that you will not be able to whip without the help of others and without a person or group to whom you can be accountable. Our accountability is not to man but to God (Rom 14:12). Once you risk confiding in others about your secret faults and sins, you will be rewarded with an immediate surge of emotional relief. You will believe that the Son has made you free. In reality, you will be horribly deceived by this feeling. Only time will reveal to you the ultimate consequence of your failure to trust God to deal with your sins.
Listen, if you believe that Bible, your thoughts are to be brought under the control of Jesus Christ (2 Cor 10:3-6), your sins are to be confessed to him (1 Jn 1:9), and you are to walk in the faith that you are a new creature in Christ (2 Cor 5:17). We are no longer what we were before we got saved (1 Cor 6:9-11) no matter how much the flesh and the devil like to remind us of our past (Phil 3:13-14). The need to tell others in order to find help displays your unbelief in the promises of God (Rom 8:37; 1 Pet 2:24; Rom 6:12-13) and the victory of faith (1 Jn 5:4).
We’ll just deal with one more thing. The author expresses a widely held belief that all music can glorify God as long as the lyrics are Christian. Warren reasons that since God created music, he loves all types of it. This is absolutely false. Music is one of the most influential methods that the devil has used to infiltrate churches with worldliness. When the Lord describes the devil in Eze 28:13, he says, “the workmanship of thy tabrets and of the pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.” In Is 14:11-12, the devil’s instruments include viols.
Tabrets and pipes are percussion and wind instruments; viols are stringed instruments. They make up the devils very being. Thus, there are numerous negative references to music in the Bible. That’s why the first humans to get involved with music were in Cain’s line (Gen 4:21; 1 Jn 3:12). There is a line of music that ultimately leads to rebellion against God (Job 21:12-15). When Israel went into apostasy, their music went down with them (Amos 6:5). When Nebuchadnezzar set up an image for the people to worship, he got them to bow when the music started (Dan 3:5). And Nebuchadnezzar is a type of the antichrist, who will cause men to bow to his statue or die (Dan 3:6; Rev 13:15).
Pastors have gravely erred by bringing worldly music into the church just because it has some words about Jesus in it. They are conditioning their people to “feel” something in the “praise and worship” service that is mistaken for the Holy Spirit. Instead of the Holy Spirit, it is a natural spirit, the spirit of man. It responds to feeling not to faith. It is moved by emotions, the same kind of emotions that schools try to instill in their student bodies at pep rallies. Only the mood in church is more passive, more yielding to earthly, sensual, devilish wisdom delivered from the pulpit after the music stops.
Listen to from Benny Hinn – unfulfilled prophecies, slain in the spirit, blowing Holy Ghost on people, heretical teachings (some later recanted), personal appearances of Jesus Christ – go to the web and Google the search – you will see.
The common denominator with these guys is $$$ and 1 Tim 6:10!
