Abomination to Each Other Prov. 29: 27 CLICK TITLE FOR AUDIO
The just and the unjust are an abomination to each other.
If you are just, it ought to make you mad when you:
Hear cussing, hear about child molesting and abuse, hear about fornication and adultery and hear lying.
When you are just, you don’t want to watch a movie because of cussing and suggestive situations, promiscuity and homosexuality, you don’t want to go to a bar, you don’t want to go to the office party where there is fawning and drunkenness, you don’t want to be around filth and you don’t want to watch TV for the advertisements and the news about bad things.
There is separation for a Christian – 1 Cor 5 – we are not totally isolated; we still have to witness but the sins they commit make you sick.
If you are unjust, the upright is abomination to the wicked.
They can’t stand having you around and your presence brings conviction. Thus they reproach you which is exactly what they did to Jesus.
I remember these instances: O’Shana preaching outside of a bar; Trinity’s and the bully; the drunken Southern Baptist in San Antonio; Pel and the marijuana smoke; Jon’s brother who punched him; the drunk on the beach in Pensacola.
Do you know what’s happened today? There is no more separation – the church no longer makes the world nervous – the church is no longer an abomination to the wicked – the church is like Lot except the church is not vexed with their filthy conversation.
If you don’t stink to the world you stink to God!!!
