The antichrist is typified by a Lion and a Bear.  The antichrist is:

The wicked ruler – also pictured as a Leopard [Rev 13:2] – he is not specifically mentioned but he is the wicked person in Prov 28:15 – in Rev 13:2-8 the world turns to devil worship and idol worship – this is the idol of a man 2 Thes 2:1-9 – today the world is filled with sports idols, Hollywood idols, teen idols, American idols, etc – the world turns to beast worship – it is strange the way the world holds animals in higher regard than humans – he has a blasphemous mouth – he makes war with the saints – and he imposes the mark upon them – Dan 7:4-6

The ruler over the poor people – politicians promote the poor man’s vote but will abandon the poor in troublous times – those not taking the mark in the tribulation are poor and needy [Job 24:24, Ps 37:14; Ps 109:16].

The great oppressor – he lacks understanding like Pharaoh did – Pharaoh didn’t realize that he was fighting a losing battle against God and his people)– he rips up women Hos 13:16, decapitates the followers of Christ Rev 20:4, and starves them out till they eat their babies Lev 26:29, like 2 Ki 6.

Covetous – he is predominately concerned with the abundance of his possessions – Ezek 28:3-5 speaks of his merchandise – Rev 18:11-17 speaks of Mystery Babylon’s wealth – that’s why we are to hate covetousness 1 Tim 6:5-10, and prolong our days.
