In this Preachers Conference ladies session, Shannon Seale speaks about the way of the Lord, shares a bit of her testimony, and briefly touches on the potential benefits of social media.
(Ps 18:30) – As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
1. God’s way is perfect (Ps 18:30) – Even when it is frightening God is with us (Gen 26:24)
2. God’s ways are not our ways (Is 55:8-9) – He will direct your paths (Prov 3:5-6)
3. God’s way can be taught and learned (Ps 86:11) – In the multitude of counselors, there is safety (Prov 11:14)
4. God’s way sends trials with a purpose (Gen 50:19-20) – Prayer isn’t always asking for stuff; prayer is sometimes asking for peace (Philip 4:6-7)
5. God’s way for you may seem crazy to others – the people of the time of Noah or Esther or many others in the Bible likely laughed at and judged how they followed God’s way for them.
6. God’s way is simple (1 Sam 12:23-24):
- Fear the Lord
- Serve him in truth with all your heart
