In his natural state man has 4 problems:

The natural man is from beneath

John 8:23 “And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath”

Beneath Heaven is the Earth and that is where men come from (Gen. 2:7, 1 Cor. 15:47-48) and the Earth is cursed (Gen. 3:17, 1 Cor. 15:22). All die who are born of the Earth, with the exception of Enoch.  Elijah will die in the Tribulation. Man is earthy and comes from the dirt and so that is where he finds his end.

But Jesus said, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” (John 11:29-26)

The natural man is of the world

John 8:23 “I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world. “

Jesus Christ moves in one direction, towards Heaven, and man moves in the opposite direction, towards the world (1 John 2:15-17). Everything on television and in the movies is design to bring you into the world and away from the Heavenly Father. The world passes away therefore anyone who loves the world will pass away with it. (1 John 4:5)

The natural man is dead in his sins

John 8:24 “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.”

(Romans 6:23, Eph. 2:1, Isaiah 59:2, Rev. 21:8, Mark 9:44).

The natural man cannot go to Heaven

John 8:21 “Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.”

Without Jesus Christ a man shall perish without eternal life (Luke 23:42, John 14:3-7, John 8:24). To have Jesus Christ is to accept His deity as God manifest in the flesh (John 3:13, 4:42, 1:49, 6:35, 20:17, 1 Cor.15:47-48).  Believe in Jesus Christ died for YOUR sins on the cross (John 7:35, Matt. 16:21, 20:18-19, 1 Peter 2:24), in His bodily resurrection (1 Cor. 15:17) and in His ascension into Heaven (John 13:33, john 16:19, Eph. 2:6, 1 Cor. 15:2).

Don’t be a natural man. Trust Jesus Christ and gain eternal life.
