Easter Sunday is the day people celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.  So, today we are going to discuss the resurrection.  Because Jesus rose from the dead:

You can trust Jesus to save you.  

Save us from our sins. 

• Call his name Jesus
• Not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance
• Man with the palsy
• He’s the only one who has dealt with sin and who can forgive sins

Save us from hell.

• Rich man and Lazarus
• Prepared for the devil and his angels
• If you want to follow him you can go there with him
• If you don’t want to go there, then trust Jesus

You can live his life in you.  Living his life makes living ours so much better. 

• His life is in you when you trust him
• If you die to yours, you can live his
• The choice is made every moment
• Our flight delay – we prayed, witnessed, prepared, and slept well

You can die without fear.  Deliver them who through fear of death were all their life subject to bondage, Heb 2:14-15.

• Death is universal
• The power of death is the devil
• Jesus defeated him and he will defeat death
• David S. met death without fear
• Ultimately, there will be no more death

You can rise again to live forever.  Salvation is just the beginning.

• Many interesting things to do and see in this life
• But also many bad things happen with the good
• We will rise again to perfection

Conclusion: Because Jesus rose again, you can trust Jesus fully, you can live abundantly, you can die fearlessly, and you can rise again perfectly.
