The American system of government is failing the people because of its insistence on removing God from all state sponsored activities. The Bible shows us how this type of denial of God invokes His wrath on a country. The Pharisees thought that they were dealing with a mere man when they set themselves against Jesus. Today, in much the same way, the state mistakenly believes it is dealing with a mere man-made religion or church when it removes the Bible and prayer from the public school system or the Ten Commandments from courtrooms that were originated based on those commandments.
State officials do not understand that they are going up against God Almighty when they take actions to remove His word. They fail to recognize that they will one day be forced to give an account for standing against God’s word. They are going to find themselves condemned for eternity by the very words that they threw out. In John 12:44 and John 14:9 Jesus informs us that He is God incarnate. Then in John 12:46 He tells us that He is the light of the world. Therefore, we should not remove His words from our school and court system (1 Peter 2:9).
The Jehovah’s Witnesses remove the name of Jesus Christ from their religion yet still claim to represent Jehovah. But according to John 12:25 and 12:49 this is not possible because Jesus is Jehovah incarnate. If you don’t believe in Jesus Christ then you don’t believe in the Heavenly Father who sent Him to save us (Matt. 23:15, Matt. 18:11). He spoke not of Himself but only what the Heavenly Father who sent Him commanded (John 12:49).
In John 12:50 we are assured that the Father has given us life everlasting. There are some who teach that you can lose your salvation if you don’t follow the Law, but if you can lose your salvation then it is not everlasting. Jesus Christ said nothing about temporary life. He spoke specifically of life everlasting (John 3:16). Jesus made it clear that He did not come to judge us, but that we have already been judged by the word of God. Once we are saved by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ we become justified (1 Cor. 6:9-11). Being justified means that our trial in Heaven has already been taken care of by Christ and we have been made righteous in the sight of God (2 Cor. 5:21).
Anyone who fails to respond to the calling of Jesus Christ has already been condemned by the word of God (Heb. 2:3, John 3:36, 3:18). Without Jesus Christ you are a child of wrath and disobedience and you are in a generation of vipers without hope (Eph. 2:2-3,2:12, Matt. 23:33, Rev. 21:8). I tell you this because I don’t want you to end up in the Lake of Fire.
So, please accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and get saved today.
