Many people, when applying for a job, take into consideration not only the salary but the benefits.  Some people take jobs more for the benefits than they do anything else.  For instance, a woman whose husband is self-employed may take a particular job over another one because of the insurance benefits for her and her family.

Likewise with the Lord we have many benefits beyond our simple salvation.  Nothing could be greater than our salvation but there are benefits with which the Lord loads us daily that go way beyond being saved.  We are loaded with benefits.

The Lord loads us daily with the following benefits:

The benefit of His peace – Phil 4:6-7

The benefit of His faithfulness – 1 Cor 10:13

The benefit of His protection – Ps 18:2

The benefit of His fellowship – 1 Jn 1:3

The benefit of His direction – Prov 3:5-6

The benefit of His sleep – Ps 127:2

The benefit of His mercy – Heb 4:16

Conclusion: This list could go on until we wouldn’t have time to finish it tonight.  Hopefully, these few benefits will suggest many other benefits that you receive daily from the Lord.
