Spiritual Cleansing – Jn 15:3; 2 Cor 7:1; Eph 5:26. Living in this world you are going to be defiled everyday. And so everyday you need spiritual cleansing. You must read and bathe in the words of God everyday.
Spiritual Nourishment – Matt 4:4. In the same way that your body must have physical nourishment from food, your spirit must have spiritual nourishment from the Bible.
Spiritual Growth – 1 Pet 2:2; 1 Cor 3:1-3; Eph 4:11-15. It is unnatural for your body to remain the same as it was when you were born. Your body grows. Likewise, it is spiritually unnatural for you not to grow spiritually. And you cannot grow apart from the Bible.
