Spiritual Circumcision, Col 2:9-12

Spiritual Circumcision Colossians 2:9-12 CLICK TITLE FOR AUDIO

When Adam was created, he was made in three parts, Gen 2:7, I Th 5:23, Heb 4:12.  When he fell, he became spiritually dead, Eph 2:1, Rom 7:9. His soul and body were connected, Lev 5:2, Matt10:28.  So, when a person dies without Christ, he goes to hell because his soul is stuck in the dirt.  When a man is saved, his spirit comes to life, Jn 3:5, Eph 2:1.  The Holy Spirit baptizes you, I Cor 12:13, Rom 6:3-8.  We’re baptized into Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, Gal 2:20, I Cor 15:31, we must die daily [we are buried with him, v. 12].  The Holy Spirit performs a Spiritual circumcision removing the body from soul, Rom 7:1-4.  This is not a physical circumcision, Gen 17, and it is not water baptism.  It is without hands, v. 11.  It is the Circumcision of Christ.  It is the Operation of God.  At the Rapture, the dead body is raised and the mortal body is changed, I Cor 15:50-55.  The Body is reunited with the soul and spirit and complete just like Adam.  He is complete v. 9.  You are complete v. 10.
