This sermon on the superiority of the King James Bible shows you three things that set the King James Bible apart from all other English translations of the Bible.  The King James Bible is superior to other English translations because of:

Its demonstration of the Spirit of God – 1 Cor 2:4 – the Spirit of God is demonstrated through God’s word in your new birth [1 Pet 1:23, Jn 3:5-7], your spiritual growth [1 Pet 2:2], your fruit [Gal 5:22-23, Jn 15:1-16] and your understanding [1 Cor 2:10].

Its demonstration of the Power of God – 1 Cor 2:4-5 – the power of God through God’s word [1 Thes 1:5] is demonstrated in creation [Gen 1, Heb 1:3], discernment [Heb 4:12] and protection [Matt 4:4, 7, 10; 1 Cor 10:13].

Its demonstration of the Truth of God – Ps 119:160 – the truth of God through God’s words is demonstrated in its sanctification [Jn 17:17], its effectual work [1 Thes 2:13] and its prophecy [2 Pet 1:20-21; Rev 19:10; Gal 3:8; Rom 9:17; Is 44:28; 1 Ki 13:2]

It is for these reasons that the devil uses men to corrupt the words of God [2 Cor 2:17] – they insert men’s words in place of God’s words and then entice you to buy their versions – they allure you to follow them into apostasy and away from God and his Spirit, power and truth.

Conclusion: Believe, read, study and live your King James Bible so that God can demonstrate his Spirit, power and truth in your life.  We have treated our Bible with far too little respect and love considering that it is indeed the word of God.
