We are to trust in the Lord.  When you trust in the Lord you have:

Perfect Peace – when you trust in the Lord you will have:

• The Peace that comes from the Savior – because you will be reconciled to God [Rom 5:1]
• The Peace that comes from the Spirit – because you will have his fruit [Gal 5:22-23]
• The Peace that comes from God – because he will give you his peace when you pray [Phil 4:6-7

Mental Soundness – today the minds of people in the world are:

• Blinded minds – 2 Cor 4:4
• Reprobate minds – Rom 1:28
• Possessed minds – Lk 8:26-35
• Unstable minds – Jas 1:8

But when you trust the Lord, God gives you a sound mind [2 Tim 1:7] and the mind of Christ [1 Cor 2:16].  Trusting in the Lord can straighten out a lot of mental disorders.

Everlasting Strength – we are extremely weak compared to the Lord – when we trust in the Lord he gives us:

• The Strength of the Lord – Eph 6:10; Ps 71:16
• The Strength of Wisdom – Prov 24:5
• The Strength of Grace – 2 Cor 12:7-10

Conclusion: To have these things, you must trust in the Lord – if you are saved today and you are struggling in one of these areas, you need to trust God – if you are lost, you need to receive Jesus Christ so that he can save you from an eternity in hell and impart these things to you now.
