This sermon was preached by Dr. Waynes Sehmish. The text is Acts 3:1-10.
The summary of the sermon is that we should do good because doing good is pleasing to the Lord. Jesus went about doing good [Acts 10:38]. Thus, we should do good to please the Lord. And we shouldn’t be concerned whether we get anything back in return. God will use your good deed in ways you may not even know. Just ask God, “Do you want me to do this?” And then do the good he leads you to do. And understand that when you attempt to do good, there will likely be opposition. Don’t let opposition drive you out of the place of opportunity.
